Tulum, Mexico is one of those dream destinations that every bride-to-be needs to visit at least once. It has miles of pristine white sand beaches, a rich cultural history, chic hotels and restaurants, and an all-inclusive bachelorette party tulum scene that rivals destinations like Cancun.

The best time to go is between February and April, when the weather is sunny and the hotel rates are still reasonable. However, it can get a little rainy in the Yucatan Peninsula in August and October, so be prepared for that.

Getting There: Travelers from the US can’t fly direct to Tulum, but there are options to book a shuttle or hire a private taxi. We recommend booking with USA Transfers, which is professional but a bit complicated to find (it’s next to a margarita stand at Terminal 4).

Once you’ve arrived, book a tour through Ocean Tours and spend the day exploring Tulum’s top attractions. You’ll get to see the incredible Mayan ruins, ride the famous Tulum sand dunes, and even tour the local cenotes, which are popular Instagram spots that are often surrounded by lush greenery.

Accommodation: Depending on the size of your group, you might want to book a hotel near Tulum Beach Road where you’ll be able to walk out of your room and onto the white sand beaches in the mornings. You can also choose to stay in the Pueblo area of town and explore the other neighborhoods that aren’t as well known, but can be a lot of fun as well!

If you’re looking for a more luxurious option, look no further than The Beach Tulum. It’s located on the southern end of the Tulum Beach area, and it has a pool that’s perfect for both relaxing in and swimming. Its circular design and beautiful tropical plant life give it a very special vibe, which makes it a great choice for bachelorette parties with a lot of water lovers.

Its location is also excellent, being only a short distance from the Tulum Archaeological Site and Tulum National Park, so it’s a good choice for those who are keen to explore the region.

The accommodations are also pretty great, with a wide range of rooms available, including villas and suites. The hotel also offers a spa, so you can unwind after a long day of adventure.

Food: The food scene in Tulum is one of its strongest draws, with plenty of chic eateries offering delicious and fresh seafood, fruit, and cocktails. Be sure to check out Casa Jaguar, a hip open-air restaurant in the jungle that serves creative cocktails and seafood with a Mayan twist.

Nightlife: If you’re looking for something a little different, head over to Papaya Playa Project on Saturday nights where people flock from all over Tulum to watch glow-in-the-dark body painted performers dance by the sea!

If you’re planning on spending the night, a bachelorette party in Tulum isn’t complete without an unforgettable night out on the town. If your group is looking for a lively beach party, Tulum Pueblo is the place to be, but if you’re looking for something more intimate, check out Middle Beach or Aldea Zama, both of which are newer areas of Tulum that offer some of the more exclusive accommodation options.
